Many of today’s organizations are considering ways of working with employees that enhance productivity and effectiveness while creating a learning environment, that is fluid and open to change. This is especially true of companies seeking long term employees and do not want to train be in a perpetual training mode do to turnover. Organizations that are looking to hire the best people want a working system that provided a ladder of progression, from entry level to management. Organizations that don’t value longevity hire the minimally qualified and pay shabby wages. These organization always hire people that are looking for work. A learning Organization that wants the best for their company usually want the best for their employees. They look at the following: • Work load • Scheduling, shift and flexibility • Social Justus • Wages • Safety • Employee growth • Resources Each of these are important to new and potential employees. Organizations that are operating in the perpetual turn over mode are usually working with managers who work under the overseer mentality. The overseer mentality is a difficult for managers when we are working remotely, not punching, a clock, or setting in a pod in an office. Not organizations are learning how to get the most productivity from employees while not having to monitor the work. As a Whole Systems Designer and Organization Coach I work with the entire organization from top to bottom. Everyone is included in the design and change process because everyone is affected by any changes in the organizations system. I will come into the organization and start at the top talking to the CEO to find out how things would look if they were perfect. I will interview everyone in the organization separately then we will have group discussion and move on to where changes need to be made to make things run smoother, then we will brainstorm and discuss bests ways to implement changes. By going through this learning process the company becomes very open to learning and growing organization. It all starts with a phone call.
